There are tons of movies and games dedicated to madness and unhealthy phantasies turning the life of the main hero into a nightmare. And the impression these works have on the viewer – in our case, player – very much depend on the contents of these visions. With Fran Bow, we can surely say the authors have done a great job in new Fran Bow 3. They managed to use familiar and understandable images, almost cliches, but avoided boiling it down to a banal and uninteresting story. Instead, we have an intriguing and totally crazy bad trip that involves us more and more with every minute.
Fran Bow is a ten-year-old girl dressed in stripy stockings and never parting with her black cat. One day she finds her parents dissected and goes crazy. In the hospital where she ends up she is treated with a new generation of medicine allegedly capable of dealing with the most powerful shocks and disorders. But the young patient isn’t very glad about the effects of that drug, as well as her stay in the mental facility on the whole. Besides, she is worried about her beloved pet, Mr. Midnight, who ran away that unfortunate night. Is he still alive? Will she be able to find him? And how she is planning to do it? Play Fran Bow and help the heroine run away from the hospital, reunite with her cat and find out the truth about the murder of her parents!
